Albert&Albert is an Antwerp-based lifestyle studio that is inspired by music. We create Music Furniture and accessories that accentuate and enhance the beauty of your musical way of life. Our furniture looks just as good in a concert hall, music studio or your living room.

While Albert&Albert uses contemporary and modern materials, the studio prides itself on classic and authentic workmanship. We prefer to work with local European products and suppliers, paying attention to the choice of materials, quality and durability. Our materials and manufacturing is sourced nearby and responsibly, reducing their ecological footprint to a minimum.

Albert&Albert founder Harold A. Baltodano previously worked as a jewellery designer in Antwerp’s diamond industry and in Italian fashion merchandising. In addition to being a product designer, he is also a keen guitarist who often spends time with musician friends. This inspired him to create a lifestyle studio, specializing in music furniture and other pieces that are inspired by music. “I wanted to buy a guitar stand but all the ones I found were strictly functional. This got me thinking. Music enriches your life, whereas music accessories have an impoverishing effect on your interior and way of life.”

He named his studio Albert&Albert, as a tribute to his grandfathers. In addition to sharing the same first name, they also both loved music. The ‘Alberts’ encouraged their creative grandson to pursue his dreams. Albert&Albert is thus a fitting tribute to Harold’s musical ancestors.

In the long term, Albert&Albert will offer a selection of designs by other designers in addition to its own products.

About the Founder

Harold A. Baltodano (b. 1989, Ghent) grew up in West Flanders where he learned what hard work is. He went on to study product design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, which kindled his passion for design furniture and the Italian flair for a harmony of lines and shapes.

Having worked with precious metals as a jewellery designer in Antwerp’s diamond industry and fabrics in the Italian fashion industry, Harold is extremely selective when it comes to picking materials. The Italian way of living continues to have great influence on him.

He currently lives and works in Antwerp.
